Audatex certification gets top rating

More than 300 delegates have attended Audatex UK’s refreshed Certification training course since January, giving it an average rating of 9.23 out of 10.

The course provides an annual certification, with content updated each year to reflect technological developments in the vehicle and repair industries. The 2016 course includes a review of safety-related aspects of vehicle damage assessment, using Thatcham’s Integrated Methods and vehicle manufacturer data.

As part of the course, delegates undertake a test Audatex assessment which uses newly sourced images of a damaged vehicle, requiring delegates to use their day’s learning to produce a comprehensive, methods-based vehicle damage assessment.

Stewart Myles, head of crash repair, Audatex UK, said, ‘We aim to ensure everyone leaves our courses having benefited from as much information as possible and recent feedback demonstrates our customers are being shown the most effective way of using the system by the training team.’

Paul Harrington, ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor, Heritage Bodyshop, Dorchester, aded, ‘With the speed that vehicles and technology changes in our industry, it’s essential to attend Audatex Certification every year.

‘I benefit from new information each time I take the training; learning not just from the trainer, but also others on the course. I know that my knowledge is as current as possible and gives me the confidence to justify all of my estimates.’
