Allianz expands operations

Allianz Global Assistance UK has undertaken a programme of investment, expanding its fully equipped, high-spec fleet of vans and nationwide network of technicians.

The company has targeted an increase of 54% across its fleet by the end of 2016, with plans for significant further expansion throughout 2017 and 2018.

Furthermore, Allianz Global Assistance has invested heavily in its own training resources, in order to ensure all of its technicians are trained to the highest standard and are up-to-date on the latest vehicle and repair technology.

Suzi Jones, operations director of Allianz Global Assistance UK commented, ‘There have been a number of contributing factors behind our recruitment drive and fleet expansion. All of our motor manufacturer clients have been successful in driving sales volume and we have seen the parc of covered vehicles increase. In addition, we are focusing on operational efficiency to ensure we maximise the opportunities for our technicians to attend as many customers as possible.

‘Providing our own training scheme has for many years proved to be an effective and successful way of ensuring consistently high service standards at all times. We will continue to invest in our training scheme, as well as the vans and equipment our technicians need, in order to do their jobs effectively and get drivers back on the road as quickly as possible.’
