Ageas raises £88,000 for NSPCC

Ageas employees across the UK raised over £88,000 during 2015 for NSPCC by taking part in various events.

Ageas employees had a busy year of fundraising by taking part in various events to raise money for the NSPCC – Ageas’s nominated charity, during 2015. From plane pulls to carol singing, Tough Mudder to skydiving, and cycling from Paris to Hayling Island, Ageas’s employees are thrilled to have raised over £88,000.

Ageas also offered their employees the opportunity to donate their spare pennies from their monthly net pay through ‘Pennies from Heaven’ scheme.  From this scheme employees contributed an additional £6,610 over and above the fundraising total of £88,000.

Lyn Nicholls, HR director of Ageas UK, said, ‘All of our employees take charitable fundraising seriously and very much enjoy the challenges they can take part in to help support good causes. This is reflected in the fact that we’ve raised a truly fantastic amount for the NSPCC. Our employees have always had a flair for innovative ways of fundraising and I have no doubt that we will continue to do all we can to make a valuable contribution to our communities.’

The NSPCC is the leading children’s charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. The charity helps children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. With NSPCC help, more than one million children kept safe from abuse and neglect in 2014-2015.
