Ageas hatches a plan

Ageas has donated over 500 chocolate Easter Eggs to Southampton General hospital for patients spending the holiday period in its care.

As part of Ageas’s ongoing commitment to supporting national and local charities, its employees have collected 517 Easter Eggs to give to patients of all ages at Southampton General hospital who will be unable to spend the Easter period at home.

Paul Cann, director of HR and development at Ageas, said, ‘We are proud that our employees have been able to share the joy and happiness of the Easter period with people who can’t spend it at home with their families and friends. It is very important to us to support charities nationally and at a local level, specifically in and around the areas where our employees are based. We have a strong relationship with Southampton General Hospital and are delighted that we were able to bring some Easter cheer to their patients.’

Suzie Simmons, fundraising manager for Southampton Hospital Charity, said, ‘We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Ageas this Easter.’
