ACIS leads the way

ACIS, a leading distributor to the accident repair and refinishing market, has revealed sales figures which it claims ‘outperformed’ the sector in 2015.

In the last financial year, the independent organisation that provides paint and consumables along with business solutions to the bodyshop market grew its business by 20%, double the performance of the sector as a whole.

Furthermore, the national organisation posted a strong performance in its ‘order fill’ with 98% of all stock arriving with its customers ‘right first time.’

CEO of ACIS, Graham O’Neill puts the strong performance down to the organisation’s full value proposition offering.

He said, ‘We have doubled the market share growth of the industry norm, a major achievement in a highly competitive sector.

‘ACIS is all about the added value offering of which technology including ASCRIBE, our online stock management and automatic replenishment offering, and Bodyshop Revolution which cuts the key-to-key time in half, both help to make bodyshops more efficient and deliver greater volumes and profitability.

‘This helps bodyshops to help themselves to be more competitive and create greater profitability in a sector that has for years suffered from the ‘race to the bottom’ culture driven by price and low margins.

‘It is about being more customer-centric and service led, both of which drive value and repeat business.’
