Dawsonrentals Skelmersdale installs PAC

Nationwide commercial vehicle provider, Dawsonrentals vans, is celebrating its five year anniversary at its Skelmersdale depot with the installation of a Portable Auto Centre (PAC).

Launched last year at the CV Show, The Portable Auto Centre (PAC) enables fleet operators to quickly estimate and cost-effectively repair hired vehicles. The Skelmersdale depot is the next site to receive the state-of-the-art module equipment, following the successful installation of the PAC at Dawsonrentals vans headquarters in Milton Keynes.

The Dawsonrentals Skelmersdale site has invested heavily in Volkswagen, Ford, Vauxhall, Mercedes-Benz and Isuzu models for the site, which has resulted in its live trading accounts increasing by 55% within the last two years. The site also supports the business’s specialist vehicle division, offering clients 4x4s and traffic management vehicles, as well as drop side and welfare vans to meet the growing demands of the construction, highway and industrial sectors.

Chris Beeton, head of sales at Dawsonrentals vans, said, ‘The last three years have been particularly significant for our Skelmersdale depot. Our focus has been on building customer relations throughout the North West by ensuring we’re the first choice for van hire across the region, and it’s fantastic to see this success recognised in our growing live trading accounts.

‘As we continue to expand our client base, our next priority is on growing the team to meet the increasing rental demand across our whole network. The introduction of the Portable Auto Centre to Skelmersdale reflects the team’s ambition to provide the very best service to customers, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds.’
