Worker of year a hit

Workwear brand, Dickies, proved a huge hit at Cadwell Park highlighting its UK Worker of the Year competition at the eighth round of the MCE British Superbike Championship.

Hundreds queued up to enter this year’s competition, in an attempt to win a Kawasaki Ninja 300 or a £5,000 holiday. Dickies also recently announced that George at ASDA was the latest sponsor to become a part of the competition, meaning this year’s winner will also receive a year’s free shopping at ASDA.

UK Worker of the Year is now in its sixth year, with Dickies again setting out to recognise and reward hard workers in the UK. With George’s involvement coming midway through the 2015 competition, organisers have also extended the entry deadline, pushing it back to 1 October, with the winner set to be announced at the final MCE British Superbike meeting at Brands Hatch on the 17 October 2015.

Maurice Morton, sales and marketing director at Dickies, stated, ‘It was a great weekend for Dickies and the UK Worker of the Year competition. We received some fabulous entries, which have added to an already impressive list. Choosing this year’s finalists is going to be incredibly tough and there is no doubt that we’ll be receiving plenty more in the next month, considering the number of great prizes that are on offer this year.’
