The motor industry on film

ITN is producing an hour-long special on the importance of the motor industry, hosted by Natasha Kaplinsky.

The programme will cover a range of industry topics from apprenticeships, electric cars and their impact on the workforce, the 300% return on investment available to businesses, as well as the growing demand for a license to practice for technicians.

Produced alongside the Institute of the Motor Industry, the programme will also gaze into its crystal ball to see what the future holds for an industry worth over £152bn each year.

IMI CEO, Steve Nash, said, ‘This is an unparalleled opportunity for the IMI to tell the amazing story of the retail motor industry.
‘It’s also a tremendous endorsement of the work we have already done to raise the public profile of the sector and to advance the interests of individuals and businesses within it.’

The programme will be premiered at the IMI Annual Dinner in March 2016.
