Team AlignMyCar debuts at Silverstone

The team will make its debut this weekend at Silverstone circuit before competing in 12 other rounds at iconic circuits including Brands Hatch and Donington.
The team will be managed by Paul Beaurain, managing director of Pro-Align, the exclusive UK distributor of Hunter wheel alignment equipment, which all 280+ AlignMyCar centres across the UK are equipped with.
In addition to his team principal duties, Beaurain will also drive one of the team’s two BMW E30 3 series cars. Mechanical and other team support will be provided by enthusiastic and skilled members from Pro-Align who are based at Towcester, just a stone’s throw from Silverstone race track.
‘Motorsport is an ideal platform for AlignMyCar to raise its profile and help spread the message about the importance of four wheel alignment even further among our core audience of motoring enthusiasts,’ explained Paul Beaurain, team principal for Team AlignMyCar. ‘Hunter wheel alignment equipment has already proven its race and championship winning credentials with a number of teams competing in other series so we wanted to take this even further by putting our name and expertise to an entire team. We’re looking forward to a fantastic year ahead for both the team and the portal.’
Wheel alignment portal AlignMyCar was established in 2010 to help drivers understand the importance of correct four wheel alignment such as better control, improved safety, reduced tyre wear and lower fuel bills. The website includes a centre locator of workshops nationwide equipped to provide a Hunter four wheel alignment service, which includes providing customers with transparent results of their alignment check.
The team’s expectations for this weekend’s opening rounds are realistic, having completed no pre-season testing and familiarisation with the car limited to one track day. However, with hopefully one of the best geometry set-ups on the grid, the team hopes to put in a respectable debut.
