New home for Hella

Hella has re-located its UK headquarters and warehouse to larger premises to support the growth of the company’s business across a number of key automotive and aftermarket sectors.

The new Hella facility, which is set to be fully operational in the early spring 2016, is located close to its original HQ in Banbury, at Chipping Warden, and strategically located close to the motorway network.

The new building includes a state-of-the-art and fully equipped workshop, to be used for customer and industry training programmes. The warehouse now covers some 83,000sqft – an increase of 30% on the original warehouse facility – plus 13,000sqft of modern offices designed to cater for the expansion of staff as Hella continues to grow its OE and aftermarket business footprint in the UK.

‘The move to our new headquarters was necessary to support the continued growth here at Hella’, said Hella UK managing director, Matthew Say. ‘Our business has already shown a 13% uplift year-on-year and so our new facility will help support this continued growth. We have also incorporated a new, fully equipped workshop, that will be used to showcase our range of market leading Hella Gutmann garage equipment, as well as providing instruction and training both for our staff, but equally importantly for the benefit of our customers.’
