New dates for Volvo course

Due to a continued overwhelming response, Volvo Cars UK has made available a further one day product/technology update course for its latest information on Volvo’s range of cars.

The next session date is 14 December 2015 and 8 January 2016. The course is held at Volvo’s training and development facility in Daventry.

The course is aimed at vehicle damage assessors (VDAs) from bodyshops, insurance companies, accident management companies, engineers, fleet providers, training colleges and industry personnel. To date, 19 of the one day courses have already been completed.

The content of the course covers: volvo introduction and overview; Volvo body structures and materials used; repair methods unique to Volvo; safety systems; city safety demonstration; windscreens; bumper repair options/restrictions; SRS systems and location of all pyro-technical devices; WHIPS system, and hybrid technology

President of the IAEA and motor technical manager at Aviva, Adam Murray said of the course, ‘Excellent session and absolutely invaluable for the team of engineers. 10 out of 10.’

Volvo will also be running its first XC90 session on the 14 of January.
