New appointment at Fix Auto

Fix Auto UK’s ambitious plans to further develop and nurture its ever-growing network of independently owned repair bodyshops has received a major boost with the news that Mark Hutchins has been appointed as its new business development manager.

Hailing the signing as a ‘major coup for the network’, Ian Pugh, who heads the business, welcomes the 43-year-old who joins from Thatcham where he held the post of Repair Sector Customer Manager since 2010.

Ian said, ‘Building new relationships and cultivating existing ones is of paramount importance to the business. I am passionate about further developing the network through close engagement with repairers with direct, constant, dialogue. Mark joins us with a proven track record within our sector.  Personally speaking, I have witnessed him at work and I have long admired the way in which he conducts himself and I am extremely pleased to have him on board where I am confident he will swiftly develop into an integral member of our senior management team.’

Speaking following his appointment, Mark, said, ‘Fix Auto UK has an enviable reputation in the industry and has quickly developed into an incredible force to be reckoned with. I have worked closely with Ian, members of his team and numerous franchisees for some time. Stepping into a bodyshop is second nature to me and I intend to use my experience and personality to continue to build upon their success.’
