Nationwide renews with PPG

The continued partnership agreement will see PPG Refinish UK continue to be the preferred paint partner to the group and confirms Nexa Autocolor Aquabase Plus paint as the selected paint brand to be used across the 80 plus Nationwide Crash Repair sites; as well as future acquisitions and the Nationwide mobile fleet of 60 vans.

PPG Refinish UK has strengthened its partnership with Nationwide through introducing innovative paint technologies and ‘smarter’ repair processes complemented by comprehensive technical support designed to optimise performance and boost productivity across the group. This has extended into the Nationwide Mobile Repair solution.

To complement this, working closely with paint operatives PPG have also delivered a series of training programmes to Nationwide both on site and at PPG’s Technical Centre in Stowmarket including the Lead Painter Accreditation Programme focusing on ‘right first time’ processes and a bespoke training solution for Mobile Repair technicians.

Michael Wilmshurst, CEO Nationwide commented on the renewed partnership with PPG, ‘I am delighted to be announcing that Nationwide has chosen to continue to approve the Nexa Autocolor brand to the Nationwide Crash Repair network therefore extending a long standing and excellent relationship with PPG Refinish UK.

‘We believe that their expertise and first class support levels will continue to benefit the business and we will work closely with them to identify any opportunities for continuous improvement in the repair process, helping us to provide our customers with increased Value, Quality, Service and Speed of repair.’

Gethyn Davies, PPG Industries UK and Ireland market director added, ‘I am delighted that we have successfully renewed our unique and long established partnership with Nationwide in its exciting period of rapid growth. The renewed agreement cements a long standing relationship which has grown from strength to strength.

‘Our focus on process and efficiency ensures that each Nationwide bodyshop receives dedicated support allowing Nationwide to continue to maximise efficiency and increase throughput through ‘right first time’ processes.’

This announcement follows PPG and Nationwide’s recent news of a joint sponsorship of Daniel Cammish in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.
