Halo expands to six outlets

Halo Accident Repair Centres has opened two new sites in Poole and Bognor Regis, taking its total number of outlets to six.

Eddie Longworth, executive chairman of Halo told bodyshop this morning, ‘The Poole and Bognor Regis sites are the original PMC sites that have now been brought into the Halo fold to create a single consistent brand. We are also expanding personnel with the appointment of a new operations director, customer solutions manager and other key personnel. Essentially, we are pooling all of our resources under a single roof and solidifying the infrastructure in order to facilitate the next phase of expansion.’

Following the opening of its branches in Cardiff and Crewe, which opened only eight weeks ago, plus the rebranding of the original two repair centres to now trade under the Halo name, the rapidly expanding chain of Halo repair centres now numbers six outlets covering large areas of the South, Midlands and Wales regions.

Co-owners Ros and Bradley Hanson are set to continue with the growth plans. They said, ‘Every one of our branches is able to reproduce our original concept of very fast repairs with on-site time averaging less than two days, even including the very large jobs of 30-40 hours. This shows that the business model we have created of lower cost repairs for insurers whilst meeting customer needs for speed and quality can be made available almost anywhere in the country.’

Using new methods of production and management, the Halo chain has revolutionised the way in which customers and their damaged vehicles are managed, whilst also delivering even higher standards of service.

Bradley Hanson, director of innovation and joint owner of the business said, ‘The quality of our very modern premises, the way in which we communicate with customers, and the new methods we have of reducing on site time for all types of repairs means that we have a genuinely unique offer in the marketplace. It’s time that the repair industry led the way in satisfying customer and insurer needs and we are very pleased to be at the forefront of that trend.’

With branches in Cardiff, Crewe, Cleckheaton, Westbury, Poole and Bognor Regis, Halo is looking forward to the next phase of expansion.
