Euro NCAP releases safety results

Euro NCAP today released the safety results for four new vehicles: the Audi A4, the Honda HR-V, the Honda Jazz and the VW Caddy.

The organisation that provides consumers with an independent assessment of the safety level of the most popular cars sold in Europe said three of the four vehicles released this month have received the maximum Euro NCAP safety rating.

Audi’s latest executive car, the A4, gets a creditable 5 star rating. The crossover Honda HR-V and the Honda Jazz have both achieved the overall star rating as well. The Honda Jazz is only the second supermini to be awarded the top 5 star rating so far this year.

Finally, Volkswagen’s van-based people carrier, the Caddy, achieved a 4 star rating. The Caddy is unusual for a vehicle in this segment, offering AEB City and Interurban as an option.
