ECA saves bodyshops over £1m

ECA Group claims it has helped Bodyshops save over £1 million through the use of its utility buying service.

ECA’s gas and electricity deals are based on its innovative utility buying service (trackers) which are in use by more than 60 accident repair centres throughout the UK, helping to save over £1 million on their bills. ECA’s customers include: Alton Cars, Auto Windscreens, Balgores, Brian Robson Coachworks, Felton Coachwork, Morelli and Smart Services.

ECA provides a full utility management service including; procurement, bill validation, consumption reduction, new sites, legislation, surveys and solar PV installations.

Andy Pennell, group operations manager at Balgores, said, ‘ECA manage utilities for our entire portfolio and in just six months managed to save over £36k, 21% on electricity and gas contracts. ECA’s service covers all areas of utilities and they are now advising us on a potential solar PV option for a number of our sites.’
