Cromax agrees sponsorship deal with Honda

Cromax has been named as an Official Partner to the Honda Racing team Sweden for the FIA World Touring Car Championships (WTCC) 2015 and 2016 seasons.

The contract sees the global refinish brand’s logo on the WTCC Honda Civic TC1 race car, driver overalls and team clothing.

Nicklas added, ‘Honda Racing team Sweden is Sweden’s only world championship-level motor racing team. Launched in early 2014, the team has come to fruition thanks to the combined efforts of Honda Sweden and specialist motorsport squad NIKA Racing, who competed in the WTCC in 2013.’

Honda Racing team Sweden’s driver Rickard Rydell claimed points in both of the opening races in Argentina on the first race weekend of the season, 6 to 8 March 2015. After having to pull out of round two in Morocco due to illness, Rickard is due to be back in action for round three of the WTCC 2015 season, which takes place on a circuit close to the Hungarian capital of Budapest, between 1 and 3 May 2015.
