An online consumer poll conducted for TRICO Limited, has indicated that some 10% of motorists admitted to never checking their windscreen wiper blades

Most drivers were also totally unaware that defective wiper blades can lead to a £1,000 fine and penalty points on their license.

Trico Ltd, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of windscreen wiper blades, has launched a new and important wiper blade range called TRICO Force. The unique benefit of this new wiper blade is that it effectively converts and transfers wind force into windscreen wiper pressure.

The new blade range utilises a unique TRICO development called VorTec, an aerofoil technology which directs wind force in a clever way that converts wind flow into windscreen blade contact, even at speeds up to 135 mph. In addition, another TRICO development, HighGlide, a unique rubber blade treatment, ensures a smooth and quiet wiping action across the windscreen.

TRICO Force has also been engineered to work effectively on today’s highly curved windscreens and has been extensively tested to perform over 1.5 million cycles.
