AutoRaise proposes new standard

A new, industry-created National Apprentice Standard has been proposed by AutoRaise.

With the on-going success of the AutoRaise multi-skilled apprentice programme, a small group of repairers have seized the initiative to take it to the next stage, by engaging with government’s flagship programme, Trailblazers.

As a result, the Department for Business Innovation & Skills (BIS) has invited repairers to submit a new, ‘fit for purpose’ National Apprentice Standard. Taking detailed input from across the industry and under the AutoRaise brand, CARAT (Complete Accident Repair Apprentice Technician) has been drafted.

AutoRaise now plans to make contact with as many repairers as possible to share the working draft document in order to capture feedback and views. To be involved in the consultation, AutoRaise is asking repairers to register their interest by emailing [email protected]
