Audatex delivers Apollo training

Audatex recently delivered Audatex re-certification training and the Apollo Estimator of the Year competition to the 26 strong team of VDAs from the Apollo Motor Group.

The training sessions, which were spread over three days, mark the third year that Apollo has partnered with Audatex to invest in the excellence of its staff.

The training took place at Apollo’s Basingstoke site, with assessors from the groups 11 bodyshops attending. VDAs received comprehensive feedback and analysis of their performance during the training and test day. At the end of the programme, the top three performers were announced, with Trevor Franklin from Cheltenham coming in first, followed by Doug Adam, from Bexhill and Matthew Ross, from Chichester in second and third, respectively.

Nigel Luffman, general manager for Apollo Motor Group, commented, ‘Top performing VDAs are key to the profitability of our business and the programme Audatex has developed for us delivers a fantastic return on investment. The level of analysis and reporting helps our bodyshop managers target key areas for personal development in their VDAs. And by identifying the top performers, we encourage healthy, inter-site rivalry among VDAs, which further helps to drive up standards, underpinning our quality assurance and growth plans for the future.’

Trevor Knowles, training manager with Audatex, added, ‘The success of the Audatex training programme, illustrates the value we bring to Nigel and the Apollo team. We have designed a training solution that helps drive performance levels and enhances efficiency in the bodyshops. These bottom line benefits make Audatex a key partner for bodyshops and manufacturers keen to invest in the quality and development of their staff.’
